Welcome to ScholaLink. These Terms of Service govern your use of the ScholaLink academic management platform, which is operated by Nullstar Design Agency. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.
1. Who May Use ScholaLink
ScholaLink is an invite-only platform provided to schools and their staff, students, and parents. Access is granted by your school administration. Users under the age of 18 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, provided through the school during enrolment.
2. Accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your username and password secure.
- You must provide accurate information when registering or enrolling.
- Each school issues usernames that are unique within that school. Do not share your credentials with others.
- Accounts can be suspended by your school or by the platform owner for misconduct.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use ScholaLink for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
- Attempt to access data belonging to another school or another user without authorization.
- Misuse AI features (mentor, grading, quiz generation, plagiarism checks) to generate inappropriate content.
- Cheat during online assessments, including bypassing proctoring or integrity controls.
- Upload content that infringes the rights of others.
4. AI Features
ScholaLink uses artificial intelligence to provide mentoring, grading, lesson planning, and quiz generation. AI outputs may be imperfect and should be reviewed by a responsible adult where appropriate. You grant us permission to process the content you submit through our AI providers for the purpose of generating these features.
5. Third-Party Services
ScholaLink integrates with services such as Google, Anthropic, Stripe, and others (see our Privacy Policy for the current list). Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms.
6. School Responsibility
Schools are responsible for the accuracy of student, staff, and parent records, and for obtaining necessary consents (including parental consent for minors) before creating accounts or enrolling students.
7. Limitation of Liability
ScholaLink and Nullstar Design Agency provide the platform "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Academic decisions based on grades, AI feedback, or analytics remain the responsibility of the school.
8. Termination
You can request account deletion through the app. Schools and the platform owner may suspend or terminate access at any time for violation of these terms.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
