This page explains how to delete your account and data in ScholaLink, the school app developed by Nullstar Design Agency (Joel Daniel Wright, Jamaica).
Option 1: Delete it yourself (immediate)
- Sign in to ScholaLink in the app or at scholalink.nullstardesignagency.com.
- Open User Settings from the menu.
- Scroll to Danger Zone and tap Delete my account, then confirm.
Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.
Option 2: Ask us to delete it
If you can't sign in, or you don't have the app installed, send a request through our support page (choose the Account category) or email support@nullstardesignagency.com with the subject "Account deletion request". Include your name, the email address on your account and your school's name. We confirm it's really you, then delete the account within 30 days and let you know when it's done.
Delete some of your data and keep your account
You can ask us to delete specific data without closing your account, for example:
- your profile picture or phone number
- My Mentor conversations, practice quizzes or uploads
- messages or support tickets you sent
- health information on your record (you can also ask your school to remove it, or withdraw consent)
Send the request through our support page (choose the Account category) or email support@nullstardesignagency.com with the subject "Data deletion request". Say which data you want deleted, and include your name, the email address on your account and your school's name. We confirm it's really you, delete that data within 30 days and let you know when it's done. Official school records and records under a legal hold are kept as explained below.
What gets deleted when you delete your account
- Your sign-in account and profile (name, email, phone number, profile picture)
- Your messages, support tickets and notifications
- Content you created, such as uploads, My Mentor conversations and practice quizzes
- Your registered devices for notifications, and sign-in security codes
- Personal records linked to you, including any health information recorded with consent
What may be kept, and for how long
- Official school records (such as grades, attendance, report cards and transcripts) belong to your school, which may be required by law to keep them. Ask your school about its own retention rules.
- Records under a legal hold, such as a safety concern reported to the police, are kept until the matter is closed.
- Subscription purchase records are kept by Google Play or the App Store, and by our payment partner RevenueCat, for their financial and tax obligations.
- Encrypted backups are overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
Subscriptions: deleting your account does not cancel a ScholaLink Premium subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play (Play Store app → your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) or on iPhone/iPad (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
See our Privacy Policy for more about how we handle your data.
